go to "Start->Programs->Mailshell Exchange Plugin->Exchange
Plugin Manager".
Automatic Spam Folder Cleanup
The Mailshell Exchange Plugin can automatically
empty your spam folder. To setup the Exchange plugin to
periodically empty your spam folder, do the following:
- Click on the "Enable automatic cleanup of spam folder"
checkbox.
- Enter a date and time to perform the first spam folder
cleanup.
- Enter the interval in minutes between spam folder cleanups.
- Enter in days, how old spam should be before it is
deleted.
- Click on the "Save Settings" button.
Spam Folder Name
To change the name of the spam folder, enter
the desired name in the "Spam Folder Name" textbox and click
on the "Save Settings" button.
Spam Header
The Exchange plugin will look for the specified
message header to determine if an e-mail is spam. If this
header is present, the message will be moved to the spam
folder. By default, messages with the "X-SpamCatcher-Flag:
Yes" header (inserted by Mailshell's Gateway software) will
be moved to the SpamCatcher folder.
Other gateway software will likely require
a different "Spam Header" setting. The gateway's
documentation should be consulted to determine the proper
header setting.
Enable Logging
Check the "Enable Logging" checkbox to
have the Exchange plugin log to a file.
Log File Name
Enter the full path of the log file for the
Exchange plugin.
