Delivery Settings

What are the Delivery Settings?

The Delivery Settings page in Options lets you change where pending addresses are delivered, where caught spam is delivered, and how often and where you want to receive new message alerts.

To change any of these settings, click the "Delivery Settings" link in Options and make changes using the appropriate menus, then click the "Save Settings" button.

In addition to these settings in Options, there are many other delivery settings you can change.

How do I change my delivery settings?

You can change where pending addresses are delivered, where caught spam is delivered, and how often and where you want to receive new message alerts by clicking the "Delivery Settings" link in Options and using the menus to make your selection.

What is a new message alert?

If you are saving your messages on Mailshell rather than forwarding them to another address, you can receive regular notices of how many new messages you have received. To activate these alerts, click the "Delivery Settings" link on the Options page. Use the menus in the "New Message Alerts" section to set how frequently you wish to receive notices and which forwarding address you wish receive them at, then click the "Save Settings" button. (Note that if you have the free trial service, you can only choose your active forwarding address. Only Premium users can choose different forwarding addresses.)
